Different BF2 CD Key..

Story:

- Kyle played Battlefield 2 Armored Fury for a long time, bought it through EA Downloader / Link
- Kyle sold Battlefield 2
- Kyle has decided to buy Battlefield 2 again (different cd key)
- Kyle redownloads Armored Fury
- Once Kyle has Battlefield 2 all patched up to 1.41 (and 'AF installed')
- Can Kyle then play Armored Fury?

yes. armored fury is linked only to your ea account, not the bf2 cd key.

Do I have to 'register' the game or anything?

It's just.. when I went onto my EA Games Page it shows Battlefield 2 with my old CD key (lol! i wonder does the guy i sold it to still play it.. ;P)

AFAIK, registering only allows you to retrieve your CD key in the case you lose it, so I suggest you do so again with your new key.
Technically it means you now have 2 CD keys, but using the old one isn't a good idea, as it might get banned (when used simultaneously in two loactions) and the poor guy you sold the game to wouldn't be able to play anymore.

This should not affect AF or EF though, except you decide to use a different account than before, in which case you need to change to the new account name on the EA account page.

I don't understand.. Does that mean I can't play AF/EF on my main account? I'm only 5 hours off the NASR you know ;P

Yeah I'll re-register my new BF2 and just not worry about the old one. I'm not THAT mean ;P

No, everything is fine.
Your EA account doesn't change. You can play the boosters.
