What i want to know is on 300. At the end does Xerxes die or not, it just looks like it makes a cut on his cheek. Why didn't he just throw the spear in his mouth and kill him?

well he didn't die from the spear
and he threw it at him to make him bleed after he told him he would
but Xerxes did lose the war and died
but not from the spear

You dont throw a spear over 200 yards that accurately. Its enough that he even scratched Xerxes which only help to put doubt in his men as well as the fact that 300 guys kicked their ass.

Fair enough if it was 200 yards, even if he did take his shit off. I would of aimed for the chest, being the bigger target.

yes - he proved to Xerces' warriors that was actually mortal since they believed he was an actual god and therefore couldnt be hurt
