I got my new PC yesterday, and installed all the bf2 games.
When ever i try to connect to a server, i get to the class screen, then i get the message "Lost connection to server". I can only connect to one server, and very other i try doesnt work.
then it goes back the then menu and tell me to check my network etc, but i know my internet is ok as im on ts!
I have a feeling its got something to do with vista, but im not sure.
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual core, 2gig RAM, Radeon X1950Pro 512mb, Windows Vista Home Premium
Please help, as this is seriously annoying.

Do what leetkyle says ^^^^^^^^^

Then look at your Firewall, sometimes it gets funny at what levels it will allow other networks to look at your PC.

But the odd thing is that i can connect to some servers and some not. Thats why i dont think its a problem with my firewall, unless the servers i can go on all have the same port and the ones i cant get on are using blocked ports.

i had similar problem and it turned out to be the firewall in my router.........once i turned it off .....no more probs
