So I'm getting my new credit card soonish but the fucking bank is being gay.. First they send me the goddam pin code for my account, then they make me get off my ass and walk all the way to the post office with my passport to pick up some gay brick code thing like a week later..ffs send me the fucking card already..Been like 3 weeks.

You have to go the bank in person and have 100 points of proof-of-ID (driver's license, previous card, etc.)

I gave my address at the bank with ID when I signed up. I imagine Teddy will have done the same. Frankly, if there's a danger of them screwing up my address between the time that I give it to them and the time they mail me my card and pin I'd rather not have them looking after my money.Cheez wrote:

having touble getting a new card as well (this time its a debit card) my old one had an expiery date of April 07, i was sent a new one with the same exp date, so i didn't activate it and girl at the bank destroyed it. the reason they aint sent me a new one???? my first card had an expirey date fault, said it ran out 31st january 2009. the girls at the halifax ordered me a new one, which should have arrived by now, but nothing yet, so i went fown today and asked, and they have re-ordered it cause for some reason the origonal order was cancelled. phew!
