hey guys

ok this is a difficult one ... i've looked myself but to no avail

i got a mate who wants a laptop ... for SOME gaming (so a simple gfx card would be nice) but the price MUST be £550>

found this from novatech : http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/nbrange.html?RVM - the one on the right - but it has only integrated graphics ... anyone know any alternatives?

it must have a C2D or AMD equivalent, and 2gig RAM would also be nice - i understand totally if there's nothing within that price range, but that IS the price range - must be in the UUK also :p

Try 1000pounds if you want a c2d with a descent graphics card and why does he want a laptop where a pc is around 20-40% faster with similar parts and will last longer.

I thkink that laptop from Novatech has got shared graphics (at least that what i think Intel GM is) which would be shite for gaming. Also I dont think you will find a laptop with that specs you mentioned for less than £600

mmmk i see where you guys are coming from ... ok , find a good pre-built comp for the cheap with the mentineod specs, also £550>
