Flying the J10 really is not much fun. Too easy. Only thing that can down you are trees, lag, crashing into uavs and such.

both are very good. ive played with colony in esu's 24/7 kubra server and he was pretty good.

Apparently Oakleaves got Colony's account when he left BF2. I don't know if oakleaves will get angry at me over this, but that is what he told me a while ago on xfire.
I am going to say Gibster401 he is the one who i watched and he helped me fine tune my skills. I have play against colony i think nothing of him over Gibster at all or not much over myself.

Colony was not one of the best pilots at all. I fought him about 8-10 months ago and he was down within 15 seconds. I can't comment on califragilistic as I've never fought him nor seen him in a proper fight (his movie does not account for that).
The only truly skilled pilot I know that's still active is rabbit (also known as swe:D). Phantom, MCMT, and planewhore have been inactive for a long time. As far as europe goes, it would be between MCMT and phantom. However, I remember planewhore being capable of using unguided missles which is something I have never even tried, so if he actually can do it then that is very impresive.
As for me, I've been as good as inactive too for a few months. I play maybe a round or two a week on Kubra if I need a break from other games.
