I changed my mind. Here is the new thread.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I was thinking, since we have sig battles and user battles, why not have political leader battles?
You guys can name one current or recent* political leader each, and I will put them on a ladder. They will randomly compete against another political leader, and then you will vote for one or the other.
You are probably wondering, what do I base my vote on?
You can base your vote on a) who would run a country better, b) their political standpoint (Liberal, Conservative, etc.) or c) any other reason.
When you are voting, give a good reason/explanation for why you voted. For example, if it was George Bush vs. Ahmadinejad, don't say "I voted for Bush, because I like America and hate Iran."
Finally, this battle will consist of 32 competitors. Once all 32 have been filled, don't post anymore.
* (recent meaning he/she has been a leader in the past approx. 10 years)
