I'm kind of new to the game and don't understand why so many people are against claymores. I have a K/D of 289/62 (4.66) using claymores primarily and 1048/989 (1.05) using my rifle. There have been a few games on Karkand where I have single handedly defended the Suburbs against partial or full squads with 4 skillfully planted clays and my rifle. (With a resupply ... Not saying I am good or anything .. I'm still learning) These are usually planted along the route to the flag not at the flag itself. My point is that claymores can be very useful weapons.
I do understand that when snipers suicide run into an enemy group "just" to drop a claymore that it would be considered "bad form" but I am curious .. how many of you that are against claymores ...
1) Spam spawn points with nades when you are capping the flag even though nobody is currently at that spot?
2) How many of you like the Supply Kit just because you have unlimited nades?
3) How many of you sit next to an enemy flag and take out the new spawns before they even have time to react instead of capping the flag?
4) How many of you rush the USMC Karkand spawns at the start of the game just so you can spam nades over the building/fence?
5) How many of you C4 a flag and hide in wait doing nothing until you can blow it?
6) How many of you brag about your head to head combat yet hop around like a bunny?
7) How many of you are just upset because you run into friendly clays?
8) How many of you play a combat commander just so you can always have UAV and supplies where YOU are?
9) How many play an Anti-Tank kit on an IO board?
10) How many don't swap kits with a dead medic so you can revive him?
There are a lot of things that can be frustrating when you end up on the dead side of the fence but that doesn't mean you have to complain about it. There are a lot of things that you can do to help you get points and I'm sure that if are against clays ... then you probably do something else that upsets a large group of people.
To the OP ... congrats. I'm sure that a lot of your claymore kills helped your team win.
