It's pronounced "SHEE-ITE". Shiites are a sect of Islam who believe in something different (so I think, I'm probably wrong). Right now, they're having fights with the Shias, anoother sect, in Iraq over which sect gets to rule Iraq.

How can you suggest that your view is "correct" any more than any Christian, Muslim or Rastafarian view is? I can't believe you're even referring to this grouping in levels of "popularity" either; it is not something you can easily change. Just because there are lots of options doesn't mean you can still believe in one - and if you believe in one then you will be definition think yours is correct......

I do however agree that all religions should realise that they cant just say read my book, look at how many also believe, or whatever and expect you to start to believe just because. They should understand that as an outsider to there particular religion there are a lot all making the same claim.

... however each to there own as long as they aren't harming anyone.

This is indeed true, as does the Jian faith...

Shinto co-exists with Bhuddism in Japan quite well. Confucianism and Bhuddism have a similar relationship in China...

As for the OP, well the non-religious thing contains everyone who does not follow a religion, not only the people who block out any idea of the possibility of the existance of any sort of god (i.e atheists) so I don't think Atheism really is third.
