my new computer. needing help for last minute changes

im getting a dell. ( im not paying for it, except for extra gig of ram and 7800 gtoc)
and. with this dell im getting 2, 2.8 pentium processors.

from what i heard on the other forum the duel processors arent supported on bf2.
another thing i heard is that i will not be able to get ultra high GFX with a 2.8

what i need to know is if its a big boost in preformance if i just give 100 more dollers to get the duel 3.0s

now i play on ultra low and have really bad fps. if i get the 2.8 can i run everything high except the shadows meybe? if i get the 3.0 tho, can i run on high with 2aa. meybe those other people were exagerating and just
said you cant run on high with 100+ fps or something.

yeah get the dual core 3.0, not 2.8, coz its more performance. u should be able to run everything on high w/ that rig

no im not getting the xps cause the case dosent really matter to me.

here will be my specs

2 pentium d's (3.0)
2GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHz- 4DIMMs
160GB Serial ATA Hard Drive (7200RPM) w/DataBurst Cache™
Integrated Sound Blaster® Audigy® ADVANCED HD Audio
and 7800 gt oc

oh yeah. do i have to do anything special to get the duel cores working for my games?

nope, thats some nice specs, but i hate how dell rips ppl off when u get 2 GB 2 dimms, thats just crazy, should be around the same price....

so. 2 2.8s can still run the game ultra high?

i knida dont want to lose all my cash here.

is it a big boost in preformance or is it just good enough with 2.8s
