Well does it there have been times I've been shot and was unrevivable, is it due to headshots?

Dunno, I've had the same before, or being killed by a nade and being instant killed.
If it is, its kinda strange, cuz as a sniper I've given alot of headies of people and for the most part they can be revived.

yeah thats true ...about the sniper part just remembering that i get off some heads most of the time and some of em where revived

I think you can be revived after a headshot. I see no logic in when you are relivable/non-relivable
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
Most, if not all, weapons are far more devastating in Project Reality than they are in Battlefield 2. A single shot to the head will kill instantly, and also make that player unrevivable. It normally takes three shots to bring someone down, however this depends on the weapon used. Different weapons are better at destroying different things, and some are simply more powerful than others. For example the G3 and the AK-47 use the heavier 7.62mm round and can kill an unarmored soldier in 2 shots.

Snipers are a one shot kill on unarmored classes so you might think it was a headshoot because you killed them but actually it wasn't. Also sometimes you can aim straight for the head but the game doesn't recognize it as a headshoot. Hitboxes problem.
