Well my DVD drivers are all messed up so I can't play discs. I was forced to buy Battlefield 2142 again via EA Link just to enjoy its godlyness, but...Battlefield 2 is not listed on EA Link, only the booster packs and Special Forces is. So I resort to using Alcohol 120% to mount the ISO that I extracted from another computer using my disc. I updated my patch to 1.41, it said please insert the disc, and it wont let me play. So I tried using a 1.41 crack found at gamecopyworld to play this game. If I go on official servers, it would kick me with the excuse of "memory corrupted". Can somebody pleeaaase help me... I'm getting bored of 2142 and want to enjoy battlefield 2
thats what happens when you use cracks. Crack kills

I use an .iso when I play BF2, works perfectly for me.
Indeed. You can mount an image, but don't use any sort of cracked .exe.

How about fixing the driver issues of your DVD drive?
I guess you'll need that for other stuff anyway.
Maybe even update the drive's firmware, available from the manufacturer's hompage.
If all else fails, get a new DVD drive. Those are available for €13.- here in Austria.
Or if you don't already have one, get a DVD dual layer recorder. Those are available for €25.-.

lol+ a cheap DVD drive is only a couple bucks more then a new copy of 2142...
