I would have to disagree. When that incident occurred the Military charged those involved quickly and released pertinent information.
When the Abu Gharab prison scandal broke it was well publicized complete with pics, bios & more information about those involved than I could possibly want to know.
I think the media thrives on showing things that make our servicemen look bad, but where are the positive stories?
How many schools have been built? How many soccer fields or other places constructed so the youth have somewhere relatively safety? How many wells have engineers dug to provide fresh water? How many hospitals have been re-constructed?

Well the enemy is very crafty and isn't fighting a conventional war, what do you expect the soldiers to do?
