got the badge, but hard to get it, accually it was kinda easy but getting the silver was hard as hell
There is something about those requirements. I did 50+ global kills and 12kills in a round and didn't get my veteran. Did it again using only ONE kit and got it. I think this is another EA bug. That knifes with a different kit do not countTrucido wrote:
Ya know what I find kind of wierd is that I can't seem to stick them everytime. I see the dust fly off their shin or wherever I pop them at and I wind up getting laid out because I thought I got the kill. That's one of the most aggrivating things. Another tip is to look for feet hanging through walls. Very VERY! vulnerable.
*EDIT* Murray, how many global knife kills did you have when you got your expert knife badge? I didn't get mine and I've met the posted requirements.
I play strictly medic going for kinfe and pistol badges though. I just think EA has holes that are in desperate need of fixing. Not sure if I mentioned this before, but when I first got the game and was going for the basics in the classes, I failed to get my engineer badge after the 10 kill requirement. So this isn't a first for me. It just wasn't as big of a deal that first time as it is now. I busted my nuts getting those knife kills and got nothing for my efforts. To say the least I was aggrivated.
My advice, go to a map where there is a bunch of AFK's and wait until they respawn everytime you knive them lol...

knife and pistol only servers are only fun to piss them off.... blow up the admins tanks and get yourself a kickin
i found that AT gguys sometimes hide and will wait for a tank, so run ahead of a tank, but on the other side of the buildinds, check the allyways, and get em when they go for the tank.

Yeah, I agree. EA bit off more than they could chew on this project. Which is strange for such a large company to put out a game with so many bugs, then release a patch that makes it worse, then another patch JUST TO FIX THE DAMAGE THEY DID WITH THE FIRST ONE!! I came close to not getting this game and sometimes wish I wouldn't have.
I got my basic on Karkand. I got my vet, and expert on Zatar Wetlands. But When i got the vet and expert it was on a knife, pistol, revive only. I was going for my pistol badge and the people kept pissing me off so when they were whoring i went up behind them and knife em! So my anger got me the vet and expert badge. And I knw that there are alot of you who did the same. But GL dood!
Well i have to admit i HATE EA!!! Never liked they're games, but when i my friend told me it was allot of fun i bought it. I was hoping Dice would again be making 1 of those games of EA that were actually good. I think EA pushed Dice in bringing the game earlier. I don't know why else they didn't fix the bugs. I will regret buying this game if Quake 4 turns out to be better. Cause if it is i'm not playing bf2 anymore....Trucido wrote:

Well got it like i said... sharqi peninsula 19knifes with a positive k/d ratio + gold medal damn i love that map. got all my knife + pistol badges there
Sharq P, Sharq P and Sharq P. If you try, 7 kills with knife will be a minimum on that map.

SHEEESH that sucked.
When I finally got it I was happy.
I wish the all seeing eye could tell me how long the maps were - it just says 100 ticks... that doesnt tell me how fast they go ect ect ect, because if I find one that takes a really long time then I probably would have gotten it faster. - kept getting 5 and or 6 knife kills - a heck of a lot of revives though.
oh well life goes on.
