Hey all.. A moderate size group of us are planning a BF2 LAN Party on the 28th. Its your basic BYO setup for a full day of fragging and pizza.
Basically, it pains me to think we're looking to invest about 12 hours of play time on an in-house UN-ranked server.
Here's what I WANT to do: Rent a Ranked server for the day (no issues renting for a month, its not really a cost issue)
I have three CONCERNS: Bandwidth, bandwidth, bandwidth.
I figure we'll have between 12 and 20 heavily armed monkeys sitting in the house in Moorpark, CA trying to push data through a single pipe.
My question to the outside world: What is the maximum number of players you've successfully had pushing through one HS Line, and at what point did you notice degredation. We routinely run a four-man group through a simple DSL connection (768/384) with no perceieved latency.
TIA
