SINCE medal of honor allied assault and bf1942.
2002 on the release of the Battlefield 1942 Wake Island Multiplayer Demo. I was so blown away by everything in that game.

Very strange since the original Half-Life mod was only released in summer of 1999.

i started with Farcry i think! multiplayer was Wolfenstein ET but then i got bf2! damn! now i cant stop it any more! i buy other games, but it dont finish them. mostly i always come back to bf2.
04 I got broadband and bought Diablo II - it was free to play online so i gave it a try, played it for ages and then one day thought this is shit, why am i playing this, so went out and bought a shooter Star Wars Battlefront which was great - then bought battlefront II which got me talking to a mate who played counter strike but said he finally got rid of it for Battlefield II and i've been playing BF2 ever since, used to play a bit of Age of Empires II but it was crap online play - just last night installed Project Reality as have decided that instead of moaning about all the hax on BF2 i'll do something about it (not play it anymore) but Ilike the game so PR is the natural frogression for me, my BF2 started 26/11/05 so i'd say its been good but all good thingscometo an end.
doom and duke nukem no idea what year that was. I remember loving Duke nukem

I've been playing FPS's since Wolfenstein 3D. I can't believe I used to play games with just the keyboard. People that played doom with just keys should go back and try it with keyboard+mouse, see how easy it is!

Woflenstein 3d was my first then onto doom, Duke nukem 3d and rise of the Triad. but the game that got me into multiplayer was Duke nukem 3d. played hours of it. i loved the laser trip mines.
