OK first all - I have searched the various threads - but cant seem to find a definite answer.  A friend of mine has just re-installed BF2 & SF.   However, whenever he enters a server - as soon as he selects a team or join a game - he gets kicked.  The in game message that I still whilst still in the server is "playername" has been kicked from the server.  It does this in all servers.

He has updated all his drivers and has the latest patches.  He is on a wirless connection - but he has had it working fine before he had to re-format.

Any suggestions would be great appreciated,

Does he have any kind of firewall that is on while he is playing?  Has he installed anything different then what he had prior to the formatting of his drive?  What version of windows is he using?  Does he get any error message at all when he gets booted, or its just a crash to the desktop?  Lastly, what are his system specs?

thanks for replying guys.  Well he had the windows firewall running -  so I suggested he checked he had allowed PB and BF to go through - which he had done.

Then he decided to uncheck PB in the firewall - hoping it would ask -Allow or Deny.  It did neither but the game did work - how odd is that??
