after the 1.41 patch i started to get this wierd thing where after i disconneted from a server the screen stops responding and it goes UBER (i mean like lots of diffrent coloured lines in the shape of the menu screen) and the screen goes blank for 5mins that was before i got reality mod and a RAM update

the above occurances happened at least once a day
When i got reality mod its went UBER EVERY SINGLE TIME  i get off a server but the RAM helped alot
now i get a blank screen for about 1-2mins

how do i fix this?

Never heard of a case like this before. I would say reinstall, if you haven't tried that.

im not gonna reisntall because im not going to DL a 1.6gig mod again

Oh right you meant PR... I meant reinstalling Vanilla, which would be a good idea anyway, since that's where the problems started isn't it?

youve lost me
it started on vanilla but got more frequent when i got PR
as i said  im not going to reinstall vanilla cuz ill lose all the data and i have to DL PR again

Ehrm, no.
When uninstalling BF2 (and SF), it'll ask you if you want to keep your settings, screenshots, etc. (basically the Battlefield 2 folder in your documents).

You don't need to download PR again, as it probably wouldn't have installed in the first place if the downloaded file was corrupted. And I really hope you didn't delete the 1.6GB install file.

If you have EF and/or AF installed, you don't need to re-download them either, as the install files are still in the temp folder of EA Link.

too late
i already did becasue it was slowing down my PC and my dad took a fender bender
