I would love to play PR, but I only have 512 MB of ram. Seeing as I'm not a super-techno wiz, I was wondering how much RAM cost and how many bytes does it come in?

Depending on how bad your current computer is..

I'd suggest getting just another 512mb Stick.. As you'll most likely have to replace the whole thing soon if you want to play any modern games.

Basically anything more than one year old is pretty old in the computer world with the way technology is advancing.

I would just go with a second 512 stick too, since with the reast of your computer being older more than 1 gig probably won't make a noticable difference. Do you know what kind of RAM you need?

dont worry
i played PR for 1 month with 512mb RAM
then i got 1.5 gig
just play the SMALL maps like Muttrah
you can play some of the giants like Jabal with 512mb

I know a few people who can play a good variety of the maps with 512mb RAM. They lag on certain maps but you can still play fair portion of the maps. Just try them out and see how it goes.

I play with a 5200 agp 128mbit and 512 of RAM (soon to be updated) and i can play all the maps bar; Mao Valley, Hill of Hamyong and Ghost Train
