why do i get 5 fps on night maps..?

my fps is fine on every other map.

core duo 2
2 gb ram
vista premium
geforce go 7600 256
240 gb hd

its a laptop

Like the previous poster said,try turning down shadows and anti-alaising too.

You may find that your laptop is overheating.Saying that my laptop was fine on night maps,but i would run everyting is low detail.

@Topic: some of the 7series Nvidia cards got issues with the ingame graphic options. But dont worry, usually it´s a simple trick to prevent his lack of fps.

Just create a customized driversetting with your cards Nvidia tool with the settings you prefer (*hint* dont raise everything to the max, because the 7***go´s arent too powerfull) and you´ll be fine.

Let us know if this works for you.

why? Because some laptop´s outrun some desktops by far. Ok, those things are expensive like hell, but a dual 8800GTX C2D6800E 4GB is either.

The "Go" series is crap, go burn it.

Other than that, drop all of your settings to low, fire up a night map and see what FPS you get, keep upping the settings until you find an FPS you are comfortable with, you will have to make sacrifices.

Also check your drivers. Check around on some forums, there maybe be some issue with the "Go" drivers and Vista.

Oh, I'm not sure this maybe should have been posted in the "Tech" section, just to let you know for next time.
