I personally like the "no nonsense" approach here. I wasn't around earlier, but from what I could tell, this site used to allow for multiple threads and stupid posts and whatnot. It didn't work. Now these forums are clean and there is a lot less bullshit because of it.

As a result, we have clean sigs, a forum that's easy on the eyes, and preventative measures against useless posts. Overall, I believe we have a good community here that should stay the way it is, and continued to be moderated the way it is.

In the words of irc:

I think the issue with some sites is their mod based is not sized proportionally to their user base.
