k so i ordered a server from branzone.com, i kno it prolly takes them a while to set up the server and stuff but for most server providers do they send u an email or anything so u can start the server up and admin it and all that other stuff? and usually how long is the wait for it? thanks in advance for any/all help.

you need the ip of the server... then you need to D/L BF2CC so you can admin the server. Contact the server host and ask them to help you get setup.
thanks, but i mean typically do they send u an email with the info when its set up or do they assume u kno the info already lol. o and i notified them, hopefully they give me info. but if not wat should i do cuz i already paid for the server so i think its kinda messed up that its not up yet. but once again thanks for ur response.

Sometimes it may take a few days after you pay for it and they process your payment to get things up and running. Did they give you a server Ip yet? Post the Ip of the server and I will join it and see how it plays
no they havent given me anything. thats y i have been askin bout it figured they would have already, i will let u kno the ip when i find out tho.
so almost 3 days have gone by now and i still have yet to receive an email or any type of info. bout the server i ordered, ive sent them some emails but wat should i do now?
How did you pay for it? Credit Card? If its not up and running by Friday just cancel the payment and find another server host. Send them another e-mail telling them your not happy with there service and your going to cancel your payment, and see what they have to say then.
yea i paid with credit card, well i did get an email from paypal/branzone(place i ordered it from) but that was jus an email giving a receipt number and showing i paid for it and dont owe any money. thanks for ur response.

so when i cancel it will i get my money back or do i lose the money cuz thats gay if i do, cuz i dont wanna lose money, or do they not take the money out till they give u the server info. and stuff?
If you have paid for the server and your Credit Card or what ever you used has been billed you can contact them and stop the payment. Its not like you bought a PC part and have to return it to get your money back, they never gave you what you paid for in the first place. What about the e-mails you sent them nothing back yet? Do they have a # you can call and talk to someone to try and get this worked out? Try the e-mail again, they have IRC too. I dont know how to use IRC but im pretty sure some folks around here on BF2s are pretty good with it and might be able to contact someone on there for you.

Normally it's 72 hrs depending on the ISP and the load of new servers they have to image, I see that you have it now, have fun with your new toy don't forget that security is key! I don't want your server trying dictionary attacks on my SSH box.
Hey misconfiguration? What program do I need to access the admin part of the server. Death is giving me admin abilities also and I don't know which BF2CC to download the GUI or the daemon one....
