Anyone interested in this game?

Essentially BF2 but with much better graphics and futuristic weapons ect. I've seen some trailors, it looks pretty good but there's no idea when it's coming out. I'll definately buy it if it's as good as BF2. Although the pictures do look like they require a pretty good PC to run the game on high settings, oh well. I have a good enought computer to run BF2 on high settings and still get average of 60-70fps even when all hell breaks loose

BF2 and Quake are two totally different games and styles of play. so i wouldn't say it's like BF2...however, the shit looks EXACTLY like Doom3 and the like. i've seen my friend play Quake 4, and i must say, it looks exactly the same as Doom3.

I said Quake Wars, not Quake.

Quake Wars is a completely different game to the Quake series.

Quake Wars has Medics, Egineers, Assult, Sniper ect just like BF2, supply drops ect.

It's virtually BF2 but with Quake characters (Humans Vs Strogg) ect.

The goal in the game is take over points (like bf2) but instead of being able to take any point at any time, you have to do it in order (like UT2004).

Check out IGN.com and Gamespot.com as they are both featuring previews and videos for it.

Sure, it'd be pretty good to be one of the first clans on the game, as I will be getting it as soon as it comes out here.

Ive watched the video for this game and personally I think its rubbish. theres no actually game play in the video. I will be waitng for a video of acutal online game footage before i form an opinoin on this game.

yea, i just read the article in Computer Gaming jan06 issue, and i must say, i have misjudged. this game looks bad ass. it does look alot like BF2, but set in the future. the award system is going to be different, as well as the ranking system. i like this idea for standings than that of BF2.
