I'm just after forking out 130€ for a ticket to see the Police in their original line up... the most expensive tickets going apparently and I've just found out they're stuck way up in the stands (the venue is Croke Park GAA stadium). This better be the best God damn gig ever staged on the planet for that price ...the pressure is very much on Sting old pal.

These are the most expensive tickets for a gig in the history of Ireland. Anyone else's ass sore after this financial sodomy?

why would you even pay money to see the police?  man you got ripped off, no show should ever cost more than $25 per ticket.

Expensive, yes. Blame the fuckers who buy hundreds of tickets so they can sell them again ad charge ridiculouly high prices. When U2 was here in NZ some poor retards payed $500 NZ for their tickets - that's about 250 Euro. I only made it to the Foo Fighters because nearer to the even these scalpers were forced to lower their prices - got mine for $100. It was a spot in th seated section right in front of Dave Grohl's microphone amp and the guy is loud as fuck.

I got my tickets legitimately from the official ticket outlet. I shudder to think what the touts will charge.

PS: Sting is a bit of a spa, I'm more interested in seeing Stewart Copeland on the drums.

It was like that for a killers gig in blackpool not long ago, some guy bought a pair of tickets for a £1000 which is fucking wrong tbh, those touts make a helluva lot of money
