He hasn't really had a hard time outside England. Really.
What is that supposed to mean?
He plays for Man U, he plays in the Champs league, he plays for Portuagal. He has played outside of English football and he has attracted many teams around the world to his ability.

From what you are saying, it seems to me that you are saying that the Prem is not a hard league and teams are not that good.

How many English Clubs are in the last 4 of the Champs League? yes thats right, 3 out of the 4 are English teams. Which kinda goes to show that maybe the Prem is the best league in the world right now.
So I dont think Ronaldo would have a problem playing in other leagues.

Yes Messi can do all that too, but I still believe Ronaldo is better. And I am looking forward to seeing the Man U v AC game because when every I watch these big stars in big games they always seem to play like shit, but I can see Ronaldo and Rooney running the show.

Ronaldo would be way better without the dramatics that surround him.. in other words himself

but then again I can't stand the guy

Played shit for Portugal.
Has done incredibly little in the Champions league.
Goals scored in the Champ.... 2.... 2 GOALS.
I don't care if he has played outside England, he is unconmfortable ouside england and cannot play European minded football.
I never for once said the Prem is not a hard league. but it is not exactly hard for Man U. who have the perfect team this year. Not because of Ronaldo, but because of how Ferguson has made the team. He has bonded them again. I get the impression that Ronaldo is not the most popular in Man U.
But wait....3 teams in the Champions from England. THE ONLY 3 THAT CAN EVER DO ANYTHING.
Yet you say that it is so hard. Bollocks.
Why, then, did every single British team that was not in those "miraculous 3" got knocked out of the UEFA?
Ah yes, because European football is harder than British football and is better.
Best league in the world? Bullshit. It has 2 TEAMS AT THE TOP. The rest are far far away.
Competitive? Utter shit. 2 teams dominate it. End of story.
It ain't fun watching Man U kicking the shit out of every single team in the Prem.
Leagues like the Bundesliga or Ligue 1 or la Liga are much more interesting. You don't know who is going to win and who is going to lose.
Ronaldo has only shined against shit teams. Just watch him on youtube. He plays immense when he has space. He is nothing when he is closed down. I wonder why he has played average in Europe. Eh?

But, can you justify, or explain your selection?
I mean, people just say it because they have seen a few games and he looks brilliant. But you have to look at the overall player. Like FIFA do. Not just the skills, but also the mistakes.
Yes i can !

Messi - Probably the most promising player ever, compared to and by Maradona and claimed he will surpass the legend, i`ve seen many matches with him both before/under and after the last world championship and is way impressed with his style of play and his ability to position himself on the field !

Toni - Without a doubt the best goalgetter in Italy and right up there amongst the best in Europe, one of the reasons Italy won the last championship, him and Cannavaro are true masters of the game and proves my love for Italian football ! Cannavaro also chosen best footballer of the year 2006 !

Ronaldinho - There will always be atleast one Brazillian football magician in Europe and pr date it is Ronaldinho, he might not show his skills in every game but the times he do there is no one better - not even close !

Ronaldo - His career in Man U has developed him into a steady and good footballer that performes on a regular basis, he almost never disapoints and he has some 1337 skills that gets better and better, he had some troubles at first when joining Man U but after being incorporated into the team-machine he proves to have become a valuable teamplayer much more than before and this imho puts him in the elite amongst European footballers - he has some awesome play on the flanks !

There is also many others but the 4 i have listed are those i follow with the greastest expectations !
Wait behind the line ..............................................................

Finally someone mentioned Henry. Anyways, C.Ronaldo needs to lose his attitude problems and he'd be much better off, still can't beat Ronaldinho and Messi though.

Ah yes, because European football is harder than British football and is better.
seriously, that is your argument?

ok let me use that argument too.

So you are trying to say that other European leagues are better and are harder to play in. Ok SO WHY DID ALL THE TEAMS FROM THESE LEAGUES GET KNOCKED OUT OF THE CHAMPS LEAGUE THEN?

Your argument about other leagues being more open is totally wrong also.

La Liga has been going since 1950 and only 9 teams have ever won it. But is dominated by Barca and Real.
Premiership going since 1992 and 4 teams have won it.
Bundesliga is a little more open but in recent years since the Prem has been running it has mainly been Munich.
Serie A again a little more open in the past but again since the Prem has been running it has mainly been Milan or Juve.

So how can you say other leagues are more interesting? We all know who is roughly going to win them each year. Every league has two, three top teams who dominate it each year. Every so often a smaller team does well and wins it, but this is mainly down to teams changing their players, management, backroom staff, going through financial problems. It is the circle of football.

Lets just agree to disagree on this one then.

Ok.
But you contradicted yourself there.
All the other league examples I have given you are more open than the Prem. Sadly.

We don't know who will win the Liga this year. We don't know who will win the Bundesliga this year.

Ok sure Dude.

Even though I already said I thought Ronaldo was currently the best player in the world, watching this strike from Messi put a huge smile on my face.  Reminded me a lot of Maradonna.  The kiddo has so much talent it's scary.
