But still no promotion after scoring even 1 point...

This may seem stupid, but are you sure you've been playing on ranked servers?

Yes... For all I know I've only been playing ranked servers... I'll check out later tonight on a "real ranked server" if I will get my promotion there!

should be promoted once you get 1 point, but the stats servers screw stuff up from to time,

only thing you can do, is keep playing ranked.
