I have fraps v2.8.2 (latest one) and i run bf2 at 1360X768 60hz (thats how much my monitor supports its a 32inch) and when i start recording my fps drop from 120 to 30, but when i start up the game at 1024X768 or 800x600 it is recording ~100fps , is there a fix for that?

If your setting on fraps is set to 30 FPS, it will take 30 FPS.  You can up it to 60 or 90 as I recall.

30 Is all you will need though.

whats wrong with that? i'll tell u: first why does it drop down in 1360x768 and not in 800x600 but fraps says that upto 25xx x 17xx resolutions are supported in dual core, and i got dual core c2d e6700 with nvidia 7900gto 751mb AND 5ddr2 800mhz memory.

And i do have my fps set to custom 100 in fraps and same thing happens if i put 60fps.

Uh... Bigger resolution is more demanding on your computer..

Also.. Maybe fraps doesn't render widescreen so well.

Disk speed.

By recording at that resolution at 30fps you're also limited by how much data can be written to the hard drive at the same time.

Plus, there's other stuff that has been mentioned like the frame rate recording limit and so forth.

Set your fraps to record at 50 fps, then when you edit later put the playback on double PAL (50fps).
