Vista Website "Computers with a base score of 5.0 were the highest performing computers available when Windows Vista was released."
"The Windows Experience Index is designed to accommodate advances in computer technology. As hardware speed and performance improves, higher base scores will be introduced. However, the standards for each level of the index stay the same. For example, a computer scored as a 2.8 will remain as a 2.8 unless you decide to upgrade your computer's hardware."

Anyways,

MS:SPRT doles out scores ranging from 1 (lowest) to 5.9 (highest), but the high-end will grow over time as new hardware emerges.

Thats a pretty good score....only let down( if you can say that) By the CPU ...what spec you running K.... oh and congrats by the way

Already done that, was part of the beta program.

I'll install Vista on my work machine in six months probably, and will probably start installing Vista on machines at work 2 years down the line.

About right lol...got Vista ultimate dual booted and office 2007.... probably not going to use them mainstream until SP1 is released ..but at least I am getting to know my way around it.. looks good on a CV when I change jobs

Ty, I haven't ran it overclocked. I'll kick it up when I get home and see if I can hit all 5.9's
