I notice and read a few threads regarding this issue: first off let me state what he said WAS prejudice and an IGNORANT statement towards the Rutger women basketball team, he meant it to be a racist remark , it does NOT in anyway shape or form excuse him from NOT losing his job and I notice that a bunch of you guys here are trying to defend or sugar coat what he said and then try to turn it around or compare what Al Sharpton or any other black so called leaders say,this isn't about what he said she said,this Idiot ( Imus ) said this live on TV & RADIO and deserve to be fired and probably in the near future will have to answer to a lawsuit by the women in question , and as far as the words he said ( this is the year 2007 ) nappy headed hoes , jiggaboos, are a deep rooted racist words.and closing some of you guys HERE shouldn't be either so blind or Ignorant or prejudice yourself in trying to defend what this ( Imus ) little man said.you wouldn't like it if he said those same remarks towards any of your female family members if those words were targeted towards the white population.

Imus and his racist remark.... he doesn't hold a candle to people like Al Sharpton and Rev. Jackass who are some of the most racist "media figures" in the United States. It's only a big deal because a white guy said something negative about some black people, and we all know how serious this is with all our double-standards about race.
