Game won't patch to 1.41..

I bought Battlefield 2 about 3 months ago and didn't realize that it was running 1.21 until a few days ago. Ive tried downloading the full patch from several different places and the installation runs just fine, but when I boot up the game again it says its still running 1.21. Then I go to the community tab and try to activate 1.41 from there but again nothing happens. Any help you can provide would be most helpful.

I would say try reinstalling whole thing. With this game it usually works

Well, I have one question. When you click the server list, do more than 500 servers come up? If so, you're running 1.41.

I thought the same thing with mine, it just shows on the screen as 1.21 (turns out I had 1.4, though).

I don't even think patch 1.21 has any servers running, so if you can connect to any amount of servers, your either running 1.03, or 1.41
