Yes, the stereotype Swede according to narrowminded Finns is that Swedes are gay, metrosexual wussies.
The stereotypical Finn according to a Swede would be a redneck, booze drinking, loudmouthed prick that wears overalls and claps on a tourist jet when the plane lands. Classy.
But as far as comparing stereotypes to the actual people, the Swedes got it more right. However, Sweden has their fair share of the same people they like to stereotype Finns as. Go figure?
Well, the fact of the matter is that Finns and Swedes differ extremely little from each other (especially western Finns). This is mainly due to a shared culture and history.
