-Hello. I have finally installed Vista today (YAY!) Anyways, I've got a problem. How should I install bf2 if ea link does'nt works for Vista? 1+ for the first answer

I'm not sure exactly what you mean. BF2 works fine on vista for me

1) Put the CD/DVD into the CD/DVD drive.
2) Follow on screen instructions after it auto-plays.

You only need EA Link for the boosters (EF and AF).

If you are trying to install the boosters, then you should have said (and still havent actually said). BF2 vanilla is installed off of a CD/DVD.

EF/AF are from EA Link. And if it doesnt work for Vista, then either

1) You cant
2) Contact EA Support and see what they say


I dont think I can make it more clear than that.

I have used Vista Ultimate for months, it works fine. EA Link does too.

No. Normal servers run Vanilla BF2, so you already have it since you're playing boosters.

I had this problem with vista beta, I had to right click on the icon and give the program full rights of admin rights or somthing, google it.

How bout EA downloader?

Its a EA program where you can login and download all needed patches, boosters, trailers there.
Only thing I'm not sure of is where you can get it and where you have to register.

Although worth a try.

EA Downloader IS EA Link. It used to be called EA Downloader, then they re-named it.
