Hey, I downloaded the tutorial from bf2edit.com for using 3d Studio Max to create custom objects for bf2 editor. I got to the export part and every time I try to export it, it says
"ERROR! could not create file:
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\MyMod\Objects\StaticObjects\_MyBase01\box\box.dat"
Box was the name of the object because I couldn't open their "my_bunker" object so I created my own.
I need help with the process for dummies.
I have the plugins and It can sometimes be hard to understant what he's saying.
"42.    In step 2 it wants you to type in a path. Click in the box with the text."
What kind of path?!!!
See I hate it when people try to sound smart and think that a normal person can understand them when you really can't. That's why I need a tut "for dummies".
Can anyone find or tell me a way to export my creations to BF2 Editor?

No, you download the trial and get a keygen for the full version. I'm into the whole game design thing at the age of 14. I can make some pretty cool things but I need a class that will teach me some things I don't know. Too bad that's 4 years from now. At least I will have a lot more experience then most people by then. I have a tut on how to crack it, on youtube. just search FragHacks and there will be one for 3ds max AND Maya.
