Why must I spend twenty minutes in a huge moving death

trap with a cannon for twenty minutes when most

rounds last only about ten? Not to mention with all the

choppers and people's high skills with TV guided missiles

and SR AW and Eryzs and TOW launchers and innumerable

different highly effective anti-me weapons make it

difficult to get the nineteen kills associated with the armored

service ribbon. That ribbon has taunted me since my

days as a wee little noob with my M16 hunting the PLA.

Any advice? Please!!!

ya i understand how you feel. Its hard. Either you get lots of kills and pwn but the round ends to early or not get alot of kills but the rounds last longer then 20 minutes All i say is try your best on finding a karkand server with tanks and just fire your shells in to the dense mec crowed in hotel. Or if your winning you can base camp the alleyways. Plus have a clock on your desk to keep track on how many minutes you got left because you want to make that round last longer then 20 so...plea to your entire team to dont' cap the last MEC flag .

Simple: Dont play on a map that has choppers/planes

Get on a server that has like 20 people in it but has the capacity to hold 64 so the tickets go slower and time increases. Then be the biggest armour whore possible.

Are there no longer any Karkand maps with armor? It used to be easy to rack up 50 kills with armor on that map.

Play on a server thats small but runs a 64 size map so that you have a chance of getting the tank repeatedly. Also stay away from maps with jets and helos to make it easier. But DO NOT BE A LAMEASS while trying to get this. That means don't camp spawn points. Anyone that does this should feel dirty and ashamed like they were just violated up the cornhole. Reading a/the armor tut wouldn't hurt either (there has to be one around here somewhere).

I can't even remember exactly how I got it, but I KNOW it was on Karkhole. You only have to worry about the AT swarms, which can be easy to deflect if you are playing correctly and such. Before anyone else says it, no, my K/D in armor doesn't indicate that I can really whore it up, but I got my armor ribbon and other armor-related shiny objects over a year ago, so I guess I'd say I'm adequate...

no joke, if you know your way around that map, you can survive the whole round and never die, even from bombers

i got my Vet & Expert AA badge and Armour ribbon on that map without dying once (different rounds for the Armour and AA though)

well, Warlord is great for this.. Tonight, I pwnd 55-8 ; I got engineer expert badge but I did not get the rubbon... and I do not know why. Round was over 30 minutes... any idea ?

Play Karkand
Play USMC
Get the tank and drive it under the gas station.
Apply to be commander.
Command from the tank.

Then get kick voted by a bunch of OA members for "hacker"...what urr sorry, wrong thread on that last part.

Serious note: Please don't command from the tank, I'll come kill you if you do.

Just play a 64man Karkand, and don't suicide into cap every point or charge down every piece of enemy armour, support from "a far", but not so far away you can't do anything useful.
