Ok i just got a 74 gig raptor and i still have 2 200 gig sata HDs, ive seen people use the raptor as main and the other hds as extra(idk music and junk), how can i do this?
I would disconnect the other drives, Install the 74 gig, install your OS of choice, then reinstall the other drives and migrate data..... ultimatly you will delete the windows dir from the 200gb drives....rename it for a bit to make sure all the data you "might" need is still avaiable.
Transfer all of the DATA (songs, videos, pictures, downloads, documents, etc - Basically anything which isn't installed into the registry) to the one 200gb drive WITHOUT the OS on it. (When I say transfer, just copy and paste).
Then disconnect all SATA hard drives, hook up the raptor, install the OS. Once complete, hook up the 200gb drive (the one WITHOUT the OS on it). Just use those two drives for a week. If you new raptor has no physical damage and doesn't need to be RMA'd, then simply format the 200GB drive which contains your old OS.
Once all is said and done, start organizing the files on your two storage drives.

so im gonna use teh Raptors for games and photoshop, the 200 gigs for Music , pics, low end games, and etc
Yes. Any data that is not linked to a progrma or OS, keep it on your storage drive. Use the raptor STRICTLY for applications.
