Lets all calm down now, I know many muslims most of them were slightly offended by the Danish cartoons but they thought the whole burning embassies and stuff was a total over reaction and tainted the muslim community. Don't let the actions of few affect your opinion of the majority.
I love how this applies to terrorist breeding, fundamentalist assholes, but not to the US. So they have hundreds to thousands of groups and organizations killing each other and attacking the west in the name of God, but just shrug it off, dont let that speak for them. /sarcasm. The US has one person and a staff of cronies inflaming the world opinion of us, but no one ever says "dont let the actions of few affect your opinions of the majority" regarding us.
I firmly believe that there are many many good muslim people out there. But only because they are bad muslims. the ones that choose to follow the bits of the quuran that apply to peace and love and leave out the vast amount of intolerance. Read the surahs regarding how to treat the "children of the pigs" (christian/jews) if you dont know what I am talking about.
and to cut you off early, of course everyone is very well aware of the dark times in christian history, that does not validate anything that islamic fundamentalists are doing. i would argue the majority of the dark things in christian history were not about religion at all but about political power.

these terrorist groups are now synonymous with being islamic fundamentalists. they follow the "basic ideas or principles" of the islamic faith zealously. is this not evidence enough how violent these fundamentals are?
