Pretty interesting stuff.  It's not a video but a channel.  There are 12 videos up as of now but they usually add a new video every couple of days or so.

It's very interesting to see whats going on in Iraq from the perspective of a normal family.  It brings a new light to the situation that I hadn't really considered before as I'm sure most people haven't considered.  It showed me that not all Iraqis hate the west and all of our values, in fact alot of people over there dream of coming here.

It hits pretty hard when they go to school and there are brains laying in the courtyard or they want to go to a restaurant and they say goodbye to their families like they may never see them again.  In one episode, a group of Iraqi guys went swimming in an swimming pool that was in a house that the owners had abandoned.  They said it was the only place they could swim without being shot or kidnapped, then to think I have a swimming pool 15 feet away from my front door I can go to any time of the day, it makes you think.

Watch and discuss.

[sarcasm] Great video, but I'm sure it's just another part of the "liberal media."  I should probably assume that it has something to do with defaming conservatives by showing the strife in Iraq. [/sarcasm]

Yeah, seriously a lot of Iraqi's are greatful for the US and UK.  The only problem they have is that they wish the Iraqi governemtn did not push the issue on closing all COBs and moving the Allied forces into massive FOBs. We gave up our footholds of cities, and could not give a 24/7 presence like we once had.  When the forces pulled out of the cities and setup on the outskirts, it left a gap in patrols.  Didnt take long to figure out patrol schedules.
Not every unit is smart enough to mix up the patrol routes or schedules.  Some are too lazy to step out the wire when it gets dark.  Not my fault.  Hell my unit is being punished because We arn not afraid to get into a fire fight,
or to spend 18 hours a day outside the wire.  Now for the last 4 monthes we have owned no battle space, instead we go where the fuck we want to, and do what lazy units are not willing to do.  The Iraqis see a humvee, and they run inside.  They see a stryker, and they come outside and play cause they know we will be there going door to door talking to people, and getting HUMINT on the area they know better then anyone else.

Good job over there and stay safe man.  Nice to hear some people are still trying to do some good over there.
