I've got 8mbps (max) for £14.99 a month. I think in American money that equates to 30 burgers, or 15 burgers and 30 fries. I'm not too sure of the conversion, I'm not hugely over-weight, sorry.

I get 8mb/512kb with BT Business for £30 a month. It's not too bad - no download limits just there "Fair Use Policy" but they've never moaned about me abusing it (not yet anyway). Heard BE broadband is good if you live in an area that it's available.

i got an unlimited 10mb connection for £12 ($24) a month (im with virgin).

Just phone your isp and say youve seen an amazing deal, and say that you want them to match it.

Dont go crazy, i started off with 4mb then i said i wanted 6 for the same price, then i wanted 8 for an extra £2 a month, then 10mb for an extra pound.
Very simple, most isp have teams dedicated to making people stay with them.
Haggle, then a couple of months later, haggle again, if they say no, threaten to leave, if they still say no, just say your going to 'sign up for this new deal and leave' and hang up.
They will call back the next day...

OOOO I signed up for AT&T U-Verse recently! Home phone, I-net and 200 digital channels on the TV (with free DVR) for under $100 per month. So in love with AT&T right now! If it's available in your area, look into it!

I had verizon FIOS, 5mb and got constant 630-700k downloads. I was supposed to get 10mb, but they set it up incorrectly. Needless to say, 5mb was good enough.

DSL is all that my apt. complex offers. Sucks balls, but not a big deal.

Last time I had DSL was through verizon, it went slower than a 14.4 modem. Needless to say, I didn't keep it for very long.

I heard about that, but basic shit is only available here. I heard they're starting U-verse up in Plano or something. They charge too much for this tv now anyways and there's nothing ever on.

Ive just got Sky broadband, its part of a 3 part package, TV, Phone, Broadband at 26 pounds a month which is like $50, ive got 8Mb Dsl but we requested 16Mb so im might be getting 16Mb for an extra 5 pounds.
