well it's true. Why are some people like celebritys loved by everyone and don't have to do anything while some people have to work hard trying to one person to love him. And then what about the people who live in third world countries who have to work even harder just to survive. I wish the world wasn't like this. But i guess one little person can't make the whole world change. Does anyone else feel this way?

ps. i'm not an emo it's just a thought that came by my mind...

Welcome to the real world. Shit happens to everyone, and some come out on top like celebrities.

it's not so much that shit happens but that people are born into fame when others are born into poverty .

This feeling will get replaced by a different kind of anger as you get older; when you gain things, and realize you have to earn three dollars to spend one or two because of all those who have not but have good dealers ( politicians ) in other peoples money.

This is why I believe luck has a lot to do with life.  If you've ever seen "Match Point," you know what I'm talking about.

Karma is a difficult concept to believe in when so much happens in the world that is both unfair and beyond our control.  Africa is a perfect example of where thousands of people are born everyday only to die a few days later due to disease and hunger.  In the meantime, the First World has so much food that it has to throw away a significant portion.

Are you suggesting that conservatives can't be compassionate?

There are multiple stock answers to this. So, without further ado...
1. Because you touch yourself at night.
2. Shit happens.
3. That's capitalism for you.
4. Blame Bush.
5. Your MOM is treated unfairly.

You will when you're as jaded as Skorpy. In the meantime, consider that some amount of unfairness will pretty much always happen in life - even if poverty could magically be removed birth defects and accidents would still happen, some people would still get a raw deal. Bottom line: no-one has the balls to really throw themselves into trying to solve the problems that other people face. Some people will do nothing, some people will do a lot. But no-one will do enough because we're all too selfish to give away all our comforts for the sake of someone else.

Sounds harsh, but I'll put it into context: you're on a BF2 forum, therefore you presumably play BF2. Therefore you have a fairly impressive PC. This will have cost you money. Yet you need neither BF2 nor a PC that good (if at all). But you didn't give the money to a charity of any kind.

It's sad, but we all have to draw the line somewhere. Very little soul searching can really justify the line we each take.
