Wtf? Is bf2 now self-loggin-into-server?

Hello to everybody. I'm not known here. I have played for a long time bf2 and stoped then for bf2142. That was a stupid idea. I enjoy playin' bf2 now, I just like the game-play and the awesome mods. Anyways: let's get to the point. That happend now 2 times, yesterday and today. I played Dcon, logged out, and logged into the vanilla bf2-It took me a long time to get in-untill the map of wake island was loading. I joined without to know the server -he is'nt on my favourites-. I did'nt used the mouse, it just logged me into the server. Wtf? What happens if I have got this problem?

It's happened to me quite a bit before too. Now i just join through Xfire and don't even bother loading up BF through the main menu.

That's why. It just automatically finds you a server then, to "Instantly get to the action!" (quoted more or less verbatim from the instruction booklet)

yeah I think thats your problem
even though you might have a pic of bf2 icon sometimes when you click on it, its play bf2 online now not play bf2 which allows you to choose the server.

The first thing I do after having installed the game is delete the "Play online now" desktop link.
