Ok it's best if I explain that I have played bf2 for a while and just came back from a long break from the game.
I always used to have the following set up for bf42 and bf2:
Ctrl = prone
left shift = crouch
sprint was set to something else that i never used and just used to double tap the W key to dash etc (think i set it to z which was the default prone)
ok now the problem is that I can no longer set shift as crouch since the last format and reinstall.
When i do the usual msg comes up saying that land / air/ helo all have conflict.. which i go through 1 by 1 fixing as i used to do.
All of this is extremely str8 forward until i come to the chopper controls.. (going from default settings) and find that not one control on the hwhole damn page is using the left shift key!! However no matter what it says that it is.. No other setting changes complain except left shift...
Either something very odd is happening or I'm noobing it up and missing something obvious so i come to u , the bf2 community in search of help
