I get this graphic corruption ONLY IN BF2 - all other games I have played are ok. While playing BF2 I can run around etc, there is no lag, sound, problems, it plays fine - its just this strange corruption.

Specs: Intel E6600@stock, MSI P965 Platinum, Evga 8800GTS Superclocked 320MB, PC POWER&COOLING 610w, WD Raptor 74gig. Nvidia Display Driver 97.92 - playing in XPsp2.

It follows the camera around when I rotate and move.

This happens when I start BF2 for the first time, if I get out completely (back to desktop) and then get back in - its gone.

Any Ideas?

Thanks...

Thats on a 8800GTS?  Id prefer my 7600GT.

Very weird, is it overclocked if it is try turning it down a bit.

Its Factory Overclocked at 575MHz, stock 8800GTS are at 500MHz, it might be that - didn't think about that.

Just use the Nvidia beta drivers for the 8800 series and the problem will get fixed. That is an issue for the drivers that come with graphics card.

I downloaded the new driver last night and it solved the problem - Nvidia released it on 4-5-07 version 97.94.
Thanks for the input guys.
