K heres a long winded one

A detective walks into the scene of a suspected suicide and looks around

the body is in the middle of the room with a tape recorder in his left hand and a pistol that has been discharged once in his right. the victims fingerprints are the only ones on the weapon. There is a gunshot wound through the mans head

the detective walks over to the man, pickes up the tapre recorder and presses paly.

The mans voice is played back relating how he hates life and is commiting suicide. A gunshot is heard on the tape..

The detective calls the sergeant over and tells him to look for a killer. Why does he know that it was murder, not suicidE?

EDIT: him and the sergeant were the first on the scene, if it helps

Could it be something like the tape had been stopped hence the detective had to push play and if it was a suicide the tape would have kept playing and never would have been stopped? So some other guy shot him with another gun too

Here is an easy one: how cold is the temperature which is twice as cold as 0 degrees centigrade?
0 degrees centigrade, if its 2 then that would be warmer, anything multiplied by 0 is 0.
Convert to Kelvins (energy of the particles) then divide by two?

That actually might work...
You are right. Since tha absolute zero is 0 Kelvin (meaning no colder temperature exists) then 273K = 0 C
--> 273K/2= 136.5K= -136.5 C

The 'queue' answer has already been given, but as for the second one, the answer is 'halfway'. Afterwards, you're walking out of the forest.

I was considering posting that one, but found it too similar to the one of 'how many apples can you put in an empty bag?'.

A: To the middle, after that you're walking out of it.

Riddle:
A young man who had been badly injured in a car accident has been brought into a hospital's accident and emergency department. The doctor determines that emergency brain surgery is required. Accordingly, the brain surgeon is paged. Upon seeing the patient, the surgeon exclaims, ‘My God, I can't operate on that boy! He's my son!’

That is so, but the surgeon is not the boy's father. How can the apparent contradiction be explained?

If Sunday was black, and Tuesday white, what was Monday?

Did you want me to unscramble or answer the question?

Here's more of a logic question (physicists are the kind of people that will get this):

Which way is down?

I have an answer that I think is really good but I'm interested to hear everyone else's take.

Down is the direction as defined by the pull of gravity.

Yeah, I guess it was pretty open-ended.
My answer was "to the center of the closest planet" but yours seems more scientific.

Whichever way that is opposite of up in a defined coordinate system (whether it be defined by you or not). Restated: The negative value of a coordinate system in which the positive value is defined as 'up' (you're basically defining direction). In physics in engineering, the only thing that really matters is that you make sure you follow the same references (coordinate system in this case) throughout the problem.
