I will give the walkers top priority on supply drops a good walker pilot in citymaps can pretty much win the round on his own with support. I would rather give the walker an extra supply drop as it is know then give it to a sniper at the edge of the map.

Ye and snipers with RDX if he´s holding a sniper rifle in his hand i don´t expect him to kill any armor if he´s that close to the enemy he should´nt need any exlusive supply drop he can run to my crates where ever they are if that´s the case.

It's faster to kill a support guy (enemy side ), take his kit and drop a supply box.... I never ask for a supply box... I would have to actually beleive the commander is doing his job, which they rarely do, so why ask?

Wrong there.  This is 2142 and a lot of the snipers have RDX making them a threat to armor and assets.
Lol, I just wet my pants from laughing.
Sorry, I didn't know you were so girlie that you would pee on your self when you found something funny.

If you don't think kits in 2142 are multi-functional then that's your problem.

This is beginning to piss me off, after about 100 tickets i run out of ammo. I then ask for supplies and i never get them. Then this guy in the tank asks and he gets them straight away .

I was just on a server and the commander was using the mic, he said "i'm not giving you supplies, what good would they do there?" I replied "supplies need to be dropped when people run out of ammo". I never get supplies so i just go in with the knife.

Anyone else get this when sniping on minsk or any other map?
Well DOH smart guy,, do you really think the commander would waste a supplycrate on one lone sniper instead of using it to rescue/repair a walker, tank or apc, or dropping it where more players can benefit from it???

You are not the only person playing you know?!

Of course if i have the choice, i will supply a walker/thank first.
But since i noticed not much people ask for them, i agree to send crate to sniper most of the time.

What i hate is those uncap spawn raper who ask for supply: no way.

wow, snipers can be one of the most important people in a squad, they arent TOTALLY useless, they have the gilly suit (not sure how to spell gilly) which helps them hide from enemies, and that would make them an excellent squad leader in most situations except city maps........ also, they can spot enemy movement and armor to help their or anyone else's squad get the hell out of there before they get blasted away by a tank...

this is why i am usually a sniper and the squad leader
If the sniper advances to new spots as squad leader thats good.  But when he sits on a roof near two bases we already own he is a useless squad leader.  Squad Leaders should be moving around to capture new flags.  Not baseraping!  Im not totally against baseraping but as a SL they should be trying to capture flags or put the squad members in a position to easily attack a base.

It seems to me that almost all snipers make a squad and no one joins it becaus they dont move around.  Snipers can be good SL's but it depends on the player.

I guess that I have to put my two cents in here... From Bf2

As a Sniper you are not requesting Supply crates all the time but it would be nice to get one when you need it. I was playing  on dalian   yesterday and I ran in to a commander that was always dropping cars and supplies to me and I never asked for any of it.. this really pissed me off because he kept giving away my position... if I want a supply crate  I will ask for it just dont keep droping them every where I am sniping at...
If I want a supply crate I will ask for it away from my position not right where I am sniping from...

Half Of my time comes from commanding {Global 58,803/Commander 31,324}
and I can understand the need to supply a tank b4 a sniper but you have to remember that he/she is also part of your team, as an asset spoting things out as well as taking out some of the personnel  that he/she comes across...

I have also used supplies to drop on a flag full of the enemy to lure them into an arty strike too... you can call that a waste of resources but whatever works to help my team pull in the WIN.....{Wins & Losses 1,307 / 1,031 (1.27)}...
