Yes that would be nice if they would fix those bugs, as far as your legs sticking through the walls I try to make sure mine don't or I'll shoot the player in the feet till he dies.Pea....Tear.....Griffen wrote:

they should make 3.
my point is that the complexity of the game i think its fine, you take a game made 10 or even 5 years ago and it is no where near as complex as this. i think people should be grateful a game as good as this even exists, and its obvious people enjoy it because look at the damn hours played...
i get the feeling some people on here are never satisfied (to obvious?). sure the game isn't perfect. but its good enough to leave as it is now.

If they're going to remake something for DX10, let's take the maps from BF1942, the squad and unlock system from 2142, and the commander aspect from BF2 (no UAV obviously, use the DCon player fired arty system) and imho, the ultimate game would be created. WW2 unlocks FTW!mofo65 wrote:

Well... I could see myself paying another 50 for a newer version, especially if it does DX10 nicely. Hell I've spent over 250 hours playing on this one. I'd say I got my money's worth!Mad Ad wrote:
Of course theres going to be a '3' thats what EA are all about.......dressing up old games to look new and wheeling them out again with a 50 nugget price tag.
(I would like to see another patch for this one to slightly un-nerf the Blackhawk and Air-Cow guns though)
Amen.twiistaaa wrote:

Yeah. a nice BF1942 remake with DX10 graphics would be soo sweet!
what I would like to see is other developers make something like bf2.
And if u say fix it, u mean a patch, right? It can only fook the game up, so rather not lol.

F*%$ that, FPS's on console systems suck balls. A controller can't compare to the precision a mouse/keyboard combo gives you.Shiffdaddy wrote:
Ummm...they ARE supposedly coming out with bf3 for xbox360, but its not coming out for pc or anything. I read an article on it, but cant find it...
FINE?! FINE so you dont mind when your sitting in a corner of a building on kubra dam trying to take a base when someone shoots your foot outside the wall and you die...twiistaaa wrote:

... i hold you to that come on a map with me and you WILL get annoyed
They shouldnt have made 2142 its a bag of shite
BF2142 really isn't my bag, but it is entertaining to play sometimes. A new BF? with DX10 graphics, maps in S.E. Asia (jungle), Africa (Darfur) or even Canada (JK) would be a nice change.Kurazoo wrote:

in a game where you have complete freedom to explore a map, choose something like 30 different weapons, drive 20 or so vechiles, have near complete stat tracking and play several different roles on the battlefield.Sniper-UK-Ghost wrote:

no being shot in the foot while lying down on the job doesnt really phase me.. plus i can't actually remember the last time that happened to me anyway..
im not saying it should be like that, what i am saying is that in contrast to what we have to what is faulty you should be satisfied. they aren't going to fix every little problem with a game this big. they run a business not a charity that caters to every players little peeve.
I would like to have BF: V redone, I cannot find my first two disc for it anywhere or the case and I loved the game, having huey's and all was fun. The radio, the maps, and all that, man its crazy, I've got to get those disc back.mofo65 wrote:

Exactly that game was a blast! I still have mine I might just have to install it again. It would be nice in bf2 if you could play music in the vehicles, airlift a hummer or light armor.Ridir wrote:

And one of my biggest complaints of BF2 it needs an hand held anti-air kits, a little bit of whore control.
The maps where armor was completely useless and there were foot trails and you could lay down the pongo stick traps... man that was a sick game

Yes, the idea of the game is good, but is it too much to ask for the EA nerds to fix that before they make a BF3?twiistaaa wrote:

Isn't 2142 "BF3"?
Battlefield 1: 1942 & it's expantions & BF Vietnam
Battlefield 2: obviously itself & 2142

a bf3 is apparently in the making can't remember where I read about it but apparently it will include world wide maps and full destruction of everything on the maps icl. buildings I think it said 4 years before this release tho so still more bf2 time to go yet

Sure thing, why start from scratch when you can modify something that already worksMad Ad wrote:

Sorry if somebody posted this already but could he be talking about Battlefield Bad Company?
