G'day,
I have been reading this forum for a while and enjoy the fact that it doesn't seem to be ''over censored".
So now I have officially become a member.
I look forward to throwing my self absorbed opinions amoungst fellow forum members and receiving responses that my (half intelligible posts) deserve.

My first question is....
What do Americans think of Australians, if they think of Australians at all?

Welcome to the forums. The experience that I have with Australians have always been good. They seem much more happy than Americans. Let me know if you have any questions about BF2. I am not an expert by any means, but would be willing to help as much as I can.

Welcome to the forums, (I moved ths topic, it was in the wrong place and 'Junk Drawer' was really the only place it fitted - don't take that the wrong way though.)

Bf2s is predominantly American as that's where it's based and thats where the mjority of the members come from, but you'll find people from all over - I'm a New Zealander for instance, (one of the three or four regular Kiwis.)

I think the American people like Australians enough, but the country as a whole doesn't have that much of a regard to them. I'm sure America appreciates Aussie support in Iraq, but they don't chose to acknowledge that contribution by anything other than a fairly crude fair trade agreement. I think the American psyche is set to the thought that any ally could turn against them at any moment, which is why Australia is not getting to share any of the American military technology.
However comparing the people with the people they seem to get along very well.

Australians seem to me to be a good group of people from what I have been exposed to. You also have an exquisitely beautiful country I would love to visit. Don't know much about your politics or culture. Wish I didn't know much about ours! A bit embarrassing at the moment!

First, it seems that the admin is a KIWI, there is a (love hate) thing with Aussies and KIWI's. I'm a lover of KIWI's (ANZAC). We can never put that behind us.
Whoever sent the (it looks like a 40mm) photo of the "MAD MAX" bush truck, I wish.
Don't be nervous ...ummm..ahh... just be bloody honest.
As for the country, its flies and dust, unless you are a photographer, it ain't exquisite.
The $200, is that euros, American or Aussie dollars and do I get a blow job for that sort of money?
