The fact that the Iranians have been asking questions about the 5 Revolutionary Guard members captured by US forces in Iraq, though there has been no explicit call for their release, is worrying. What is interesting, and has been highlighted by the Iranians, is that there has been universal condemnation for Iran not allowing consular access to the sailors when Iran have recieved no consular access to the Iranian forces helds by the US. The US should be granting them consular access.

Clearly any sort of prisoner exchange is out of the question. The conditions of their capture are totally different and in that the US are in the right and the Iranians in the wrong. The lack of consular access to the Iranians by the US is a horrendous double standard and shows a total lack of regard for international law - when they consistently condemn other nations for not abiding by the exact same laws.

They apologized for the iranians for the sake for them, but in their hearts and as the western world knows, they were not in the iranian waters. So let them apoligize and let the iranians think what their screwed up minds want to think, but we all know who is right in all of this mess.
