Well not that it maters but just out of curiosity, ive been wondering which gun other people like best,

personally i like the AK, I love the look of it, the sound of it firing, its ACCURACY, i mean this gun is over 30 years old but yet, it still seems to be better than the M16, escpally in the game, but really i mean is it me or is it more accurate than the M16, so just to get your opinion in go ahead and type back please id like to hear excatly what you think of this matchup:)

i like m16 better and prefer burst over auto all the time .. i think ak's are for people who like to spray and m-16 for people who like to aim then fire =p

just to correct you the AK-47 is older than 30 years old it was first made in 1949 so its 57 years old.

The AK-47 is a lighter version of the german WWII MP-44 (machinepistol 44), that lethal weapon was a real war trophy for allies during the war. The first machine gun to ever have a curved clip. google it and you will see I am right.

mp-44, also known as Sturmgewehr-44 (StG. 44) is the gun used in ww2 and in games
mp-42/43 was called machinepistol because hitler opposed anything but smg's and its use was very limited on the western front

sturmgewehr translates to assault rifle .. they coined the phrase and everyone uses it now

and its totally ridiculous to say thats the stg / mp44 is a "lighter ak"

ak was invented by Mikhail Kalashnikov a russian for russian military and they are not particularly fond of germans

it's lighter because it's more like a smg assault rifle. The mp44 was very heavy and if you have played medal of honor, you will know it's in the machine guns class just like the BAR (browning automatic rifle).
designed, not invented. and based on german weapon, everybody knows that!!

everybody knows something that isnt true huh ? the ak was soviet designed not designed or inspired by any other weapon ... rest assured the russians would never sit well with using a weapon based on one that helped kill millions of thier own people

they are different caliber they have different actions and have nothing in common other than gas operated assault rifle class .. furthermore when a new feature such as ak's rotating bolt is created it is the definiton of an invention, not simply a design

Sticking to the topic at hand I would say that the Ak-47 or 101 is my prefered weapon. a) Because it fires faster inclose quarters battles where you need full auto. b) Because it has a higher degree of accuracy at range & c) Because it does more damage a shot & a single shot to the head of an enemy soldier is instantly lethal.

a. m16's rounds per minute is better than ak's 900 vs 600
b. m16's accuracy is higher than ak's acc 6 vs 4
c. every weapon in the game kills if its a headshot

not just on chinese, the MEC use it also, the assult has a grenade launcher and the medic doesnt, actually i dont think the chinese use an AK...

the mec sf uses the 47 as well

Nope,afaik only weapons with caliber 7.62mm or higher.(Sniper rifles/Scar-H,G3,AK's)
You need 2 Shots with all the other guns.Try out on a nearly empty server with some other ppl.
I like the AK better than the M16.More power/better sound.The accuracy,..well it's ok.Got some lucky shots with it though.
