Anyone know of an existing thread or guide, on safley installing and using a BF2 Mod? Appreciated.
Most BF2 Mods install a shortcut on your desktop so you play from there shortcuts and not the reg BF2 shortcut.
ditto. what it basically does is add "+modPath mods/mod folder name" to a copy of your regular bf2 shortcut. Because bf2 mods only add stuff to the mods folder you can safely install as many mods as you like. vBF2 wont be affectedMofoTheSickO wrote:

I already posted this in media, but this is the right section i think. I downloaded the sandbox mod 0.4 or watever it is. It worked, its cool. But it wont let me play normal bf2. Every server says, "this server does not allow any modified stuff, revert back to origional bf2" or something like that. I already erased sandbox from the control panel and it still doesnt let me!!!

yeah i had the same problem. I had to reinstall bf2, and the patch, now its working again.
So how exactly do i play sandbox without it messing with bf2?
If somebody knows, could you put it in step by step detail cause im computer retarded.
