Sir Del Boy, my guess is that you are around 20 years old?? As a lot of those cartoons were also my favourite.

Obviously I was very young for the last 2 and Superted. BUT, having said that, my current favourite is:

Yo Mullet, can Thomas The Tank Engine and Postman Pat be defined as cartoons? Or even Trap Door cos I listed it as one of my faves. I know Trap Door wos more claymation - kinda like Wallace and Gromitt - than anything else.

All posible "Loony Toons" like Tom & Jerry, Bugs Bunny, Road Runner etc. Those are proper children's cartoons. No one gets hurt, has classical music in, funny and you can watch them gazzilions times.

Also one amazing cartoon, that I still like to watch when Im high or drunk is Strippy.

It depends how strict you want to make pleasant banter about childhood TV shows.....

My dickhead older brother allways hogged the TV. I never got to watch kid shows so I read a lot instead.

I did grow up to be a conservative....hmmmmm ?

I second that (or is it third that), but yeah, Saturday morning cartoons were the thing that I used to look forward to as a kid.  Nowadays the cartoons that my kid brother watches just seem like they wouldn't even appeal to me when I was a child.
